Meet the Staff

Staff.jpgDr. Jamey King, D.C. & Dr. Amanda Richardson, D.C. are licensed Chiropractors serving the southwest Wisconsin community.

Dr. Jamey King received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2007. Prior to his studies at PCC-IA, Dr. King received a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from UW-La Crosse. Dr. King worked in a thriving, state-of-the art, multi-doctor clinic in Lincoln, IL where he gained invaluable experience while working with a large and loyal patient base, helping many individuals in their pursuit of their health goals.  Dr. King then opened his own practice in St. Charles, Illinois for two years before deciding to move back home to Darlington, WI take care of family & friends.

Dr. King focuses on children and family care using a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. King is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

Dr. King continues to study safe and effective chiropractic adjusting and treatment techniques. He is currrently taking classes to obtain a Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practioner (CCWP) as well as a certificate and diplomate in Chiropractic Pediatrics.

Dr. King & Dr. Richardson have big hearts for caring with kids who have sensory disturbances, ADD/ADHD, Autism, SPD, and PPD. Utilizing sensory integration and proprioceptive treatments, along with chiropractic care, our goal is to help change the neurodevelopmental, behavioral, and social health of the community.  These techniques allow them to serve people of all ages with a variety of conditions.

Dr. Amanda Richardson received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2008. Prior to her studies at PCC-IA, Dr. Richardson received a B.S. in Biology: Biomedical with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Northern Iowa where she was the Co-Captain of the UNI Panther Diving Team.

Prior to joining King Family Chiropractic, Dr. Richardson completed her internship in a multi-doctor clinic in Moline, IL where she treated patients from young children, to patients wanting to regain their youth!  Her passion is treating women and children as she is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (www.icpa4kids.com).  "It's my personal belief that all children need to be checked after birth because the first trauma to the spine could be from the birth process.  There is a lot of tension on the child's spine in the birth canal, and even more pressure during a c-section delivery."  This is why she painted the clinic mural to make it more family friendly.  "Every parent wants to have the best for their child's health, and chiropractic can help them start-off life with the best possible potential for health with a properly aligned spine free of nerve interference." Dr. Amanda states.

Dr. Amanda was born and raised in Newton, IA and currently lives in Mineral Point, WI.  She also enjoys exercise, gymnastics, diving, dance, doing art projects, and rooting on the Denver Broncos.

Lisa Wolfe, C.A. is a patient who joined our team as a Chiropractic Assistant in September 2010.  She is a '98 graudate of Monroe & has worked for the health department and as a floral designer in Darlington.  Lisa is our expert behind the desk in the morning.  She is fantastic at handling billing, insurance, and scheduling appointments.  "I can easily verify your insurance so we know exactly what your coverage is, and get an appointment set up for you and your family." Lisa was certified as a "5 Star CA" in October and continues to bring excitement and energy to the office every day.

Lisa is married to Aaron Wolfe, whom you may know is our local computer master from "Darlington Reboot".  Lisa & Aaron have two adorable kids, Ian - 9, & Evander - 3, with one more on the way, due "September-ish".  The whole family gets adjusted on a regular basis.  "My kids seem to not get sick as often, and when they do, it's not as bad as it was before they started getting adjusted" Lisa says. She has also found the benefit of chiropractic care for herself, "I have suffered from chronic migraines, and chiropractic has helped me stop the migraine before it takes hold.  I love getting adjusted & highly recommend getting your children adjusted too!  Dr. Jamey & Dr. Amanda are great with all the kids who come in for adjustments, I know they're just big kids at heart."

Lisa & her family live in Darlington with their boxer "Drake".

Anna Crook, C.A. is very at home in our wellness clinic....why you may ask?  Because King Family Chiropractic's building was previously a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness which Anna is an active member of the church!  "With all the renovations of the office, it doesn't feel like it used to be our church, except the bathroom is still the same."  Anna joined the staff as an afternoon Chiropractic Assistant in August, and we're hoping she can cover a few hours in the morning when Lisa goes on Maternity leave.
Anna is an active person who enjoys her daily runs. She is excited to learn as much as she can about health & wellness and how chiropractic can help not only her, but the community as a whole by free educational events in things like Exercise, Nutrition and Stress Management.

Anna has been married to Josh Crook for 5 years and although she was raised in Plateville, she makes her home in Darlington.
